**Pipe Fitter/Welder - Sioux Falls, SD** **Job Description:** We are seeking a skilled **Pipe Fitter/Welder** to join our team. This position involves installing, assembling, and welding piping systems for industrial applications. The role requires **regular travel to job sites** , so flexibility and a valid driver's license are essential. Candidates should have experience working with various metals and welding techniques while adhering to safety and quality standards. **Key Responsibilities:** + Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings. + Cut, thread, and weld pipes according to specifications. + Assemble and install piping systems for tanks and related equipment. + Inspect and test completed systems for leaks and compliance. + Maintain tools and equipment in safe working condition. + Follow all safety protocols and OSHA regulations. + Travel to project sites as required. **Essential Skills & Qualifications:** + Proficiency in MIG, TIG, and stick welding. + Strong knowledge of pipe fitting techniques and materials. + Ability to read and interpret technical drawings accurately. + Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills. + Physical ability to lift heavy materials and work in various positions. + Valid driver's license and willingness to travel. + High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification preferred. **Work Environment:** + Primarily industrial and construction settings. + Exposure to varying temperatures, noise, and physical demands. + Collaborative team environment with a strong focus on safety. + Travel required for on-site installations and projects. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Sioux Falls, SD. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $35.00/hr.
