Description We are looking for a Staff Accountant in the restaurant industry, based in Charleston, South Carolina. This role focuses on processing customer applications, maintaining accurate records, resolving inquiries, and managing account activities. Key Responsibilities: + Update and maintain accurate customer records. + Complete month-end closing tasks, including preparing and reviewing financial statements. + Oversee property-related administrative duties, such as correspondence, license applications/renewals, and property tax tracking/payments. + Provide backup support to other accountants as needed. + Manage sales tax and accommodation tax returns for properties. + Input journal entries into the accounting system. + Monitor bank account balances and handle weekly payables/check runs. + Assist with requests for information from properties or related parties.
