**Construction Technician - Immediately Hiring - Career Opportunity**
**Job Description**
+ We are seeking a skilled Construction Technician to install and maintain plumbing and electrical systems, as well as handle framing and painting tasks. This role involves performing routine maintenance and repairs across multiple trades to ensure optimal facility operations.
**Responsibilities**
+ Install and maintain electrical systems including lighting, outlets, and switches.
+ Perform plumbing work involving fixtures and piping.
+ Conduct painting and surface preparation.
+ Patch and install drywall as needed.
+ Perform carpentry tasks such as door, frame, and cabinetry work.
+ Troubleshoot and resolve facility issues efficiently.
+ Conduct inspections to identify potential problems and recommend solutions.
+ Maintain tools, equipment, and workspaces in clean and safe condition.
+ Collaborate with other technicians and departments to ensure timely completion of tasks.
**Essential Skills**
+ 2+ years of experience in facilities maintenance or related trades.
+ Working knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and carpentry systems.
+ Ability to read blueprints and technical manuals.
+ Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
+ Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Electrical Certification is a plus.
+ Experience with carpentry, plumbing, drywall, electrical, framing, painting, concrete, and construction.
+ Ability to handle multiple job site visits a day.
+ Experience with mobile construction/maintenance.
+ Proficiency in using hand and power tools.

**Work Environment**
+ This position involves working at Chevron gas stations, requiring travel to multiple job sites daily. The role demands a hands-on approach in diverse environments, ensuring that all workspaces and equipment are maintained safely and efficiently.
**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of San Diego, CA.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr.
