Intern IT Support **Department:** IT **Location:** Evanston, IL Hagerty Consulting, Inc. (Hagerty) is the nation's leading emergency management and homeland security consulting firm. We serve our clients across the nation to enhance their preparedness programs; create more resilient and sustainable communities; provide innovative solutions to enhance their response; and obtain and manage grants and loans to support their recovery. **Position Summary:** The **IT Support Intern** will administer and support several software programs, support the company-s information technology (IT) hardware, provide help desk support, and help plan and support other efforts related to Hagerty-s growing technology footprint. This is a **part-time, hybrid position** that will require **1 day a week onsite** in Evanston, Illinois. **Responsibilities for the IT Support Intern Include:** + Provide hardware/software support to office and field-level staff. + Administer various software programs. + Manage the inventory, deployment, maintenance, and disposal of hardware. + Help drive infrastructure consolidation, cyber security efforts, device management. + Communicate with the team efficiently and effectively. **Qualifications for the IT Support Intern Include:** + An undergraduate degree (or pursuing) in a technical field (Computer Science, Information Technology, Systems Engineering, Management Information Systems, Computer Information Systems). + Experience in IT or a technology-related environment, which can include internship, part-time, or academic/work-study experience. + Technical familiarity with mobile devices (iOS and Android), Microsoft platforms/products (Windows 10/11, Office, SharePoint, MS Teams). + Effective communication skills, including interacting with Hagerty professionals and executives on the phone to troubleshoot issues. + Prior helpdesk/service experience. **Compensation for the IT Support Intern Includes:** + Hourly Range of $17-20. Compensation decisions depend on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skills, experience and training, licensure and certifications, internal equity, location, travel requirements, and other business and organizational needs.
