Description We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our team in Denville, New Jersey. In this contract to permanent position, you will play a key role in managing financial transactions, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring the smooth operation of office functions. Responsibilities: - Record and process invoices and bills with accuracy and efficiency. - Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable operations. - Enter financial data and transactions into QuickBooks. - Oversee payroll processing and ensure proper allocation. - Prepare and issue payments, including writing checks and handling billing tasks. - Contact customers to follow up on outstanding payments and ensure timely collections. - Maintain compliance with contracts and renew them as needed. - Manage office operations, ensuring supplies are ordered and tasks are completed efficiently. - Develop proposals by pricing jobs and preparing standardized documents. - Foster strong customer relationships and collaborate with service technicians to enhance client satisfaction. Requirements - Proven experience in bookkeeping, with a strong understanding of financial processes. - Proficiency in QuickBooks for managing transactions and records. - Solid knowledge of accounts payable and receivable procedures. - Familiarity with payroll processing and allocation. - Ability to perform bank reconciliations and maintain accurate financial records. - Strong organizational and time management skills to handle multiple tasks. - Excellent communication skills for interacting with customers and team members. - Detail-oriented mindset with a commitment to accuracy and compliance.
