Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Purchasing/Shipping/Receiving Clerk to join our client's team in Fenton, Missouri. In this role, you will play a key part in managing procurement activities, ensuring materials are received and processed efficiently, and supporting both office and warehouse operations. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment and enjoys collaborating with engineers and other team members. Key Responsibilities + Receive, inspect, and verify incoming materials against purchase orders and packing slips. + Work closely with Engineering to review material lists and confirm required items before ordering. + Create and process purchase orders for materials and supplies. + Sourcing materials and work with vendors for on time delivery + Track orders, deliveries, and backorders to ensure materials arrive on time. + Maintain accurate inventory, receiving, and purchasing records. + Communicate daily with vendors regarding orders, lead times, shortages, and delivery issues. + Resolve discrepancies related to damaged, missing, or incorrect materials. + Support shipping of outgoing materials when needed. + Follow warehouse safety, cleanliness, and organization standards. Requirements Qualifications + 1+ year of experience in purchasing, shipping, and receiving. + Experience working in warehouse operations or materials handling environments. + Comfortable handling, sorting, and organizing materials in a warehouse setting. + Experience working with purchase orders, vendors, and inventory systems. + Telecom or data center industry experience is a plus, but not required. + Familiarity with Foundation software is a plus, but not required. + Strong attention to detail, organization, and follow‑through.
