You will work on gears, belts, conveyor systems, and industrial paper machines, ensuring reliable operation and minimal downtime across multiple shifts. **Responsibilities** + Perform mechanical maintenance on a wide range of industrial machinery, including gears, belts, conveyor systems, and industrial paper machines. + Complete routine preventive maintenance to ensure the safe and efficient operation of machinery and mechanical equipment. + Locate sources of mechanical problems by observing equipment in operation, listening for irregular sounds, and using precision measuring and testing instruments. + Troubleshoot mechanical issues and determine appropriate repair methods to restore equipment to proper working condition. + Remove defective parts by dismantling devices using hoists, cranes, and hand and power tools, and by carefully examining the form and texture of parts. **Essential Skills** + At least 5+ years of experience working in an industrial maintenance technician role. + Proven experience in mechanical maintenance and mechanical troubleshooting in an industrial environment. + Strong experience in preventive and preventative maintenance on industrial machinery, including gears and belts. + Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical schematics. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience working in an industrial building or manufacturing environment. + Comfort working across different shifts as needed, including day, evening, and night shifts. + Attention to detail when inspecting parts and components for wear, damage, or dimensional changes. **Why Work Here?** Join a company that is newly established in the area and offers significant opportunity for growth as the operation expands.
