Description We are looking for a skilled Controller to join our client east of Pittsburgh. This role involves managing financial operations, overseeing accounting processes, and ensuring accurate budget development and reporting. Responsibilities: - Supervise financial and accounting operations, including monthly, quarterly, and year-end closings. - Develop and monitor budgets to ensure alignment with organizational goals. - Maintain accuracy and compliance of cost accounting within the manufacturing environment. - Oversee and manage document control processes, ensuring secure and organized records. - Implement efficient systems for scanning, compiling, and managing financial documents. - Analyze manufacturing costs and provide insights for operational improvements. - Collaborate with management to deliver timely and accurate financial reports. - Ensure adherence to financial regulations and company policies. Requirements - Proven, recent experience in within the manufacturing sector. - Proficiency in year-end closings and financial reporting. - Familiarity with manufacturing cost accounting principles. Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance CPA or CMA preferred.
