**Job Title: Construction Laborer - Industrial Machinery Installation**
**Job Description**
This role supports the installation and hookup of industrial machinery and tools inside a large manufacturing plant. You will assist with unboxing and preparing equipment, moving tools and machinery into place, and supporting conveyor and equipment installation activities in a fast-paced construction and production environment.
**Responsibilities**
+ Assist with moving tools, machinery, and equipment into the plant and to designated work areas.
+ Unbox crates and prepare equipment for installation, including unwrapping and organizing components.
+ Use hand saws, band saws, and other hand and power tools to support equipment setup and installation tasks.
+ Support machinery and conveyor installation activities under the direction of experienced installers and supervisors.
+ Read and follow work instructions accurately to complete assigned tasks safely and efficiently.
+ Measure materials and components using a tape measure to ensure correct dimensions and proper fit.
+ Handle, stage, and move construction materials and equipment around the job site as needed.
+ Follow all OSHA safety guidelines and site-specific safety rules at all times.
+ Maintain a clean and organized work area, disposing of packaging and debris appropriately.
+ Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate tasks and ensure smooth workflow throughout the project.
**Essential Skills**
+ OSHA 10 certification.
+ 2+ years of construction experience, preferably in millwright, carpentry, or bandsaw-related work.
+ Ability to read and use a tape measure accurately.
+ Ability to use hand and power tools safely and effectively.
+ Ability to read and follow written work instructions.
+ Mechanically inclined with the ability to support machinery and equipment installation tasks.
+ Reliable transportation to and from the job site.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Experience with conveyor installation.
+ Experience in an industrial machinery installation environment.
+ Ability to read prints and schematic drawings is a plus.
+ Comfort working in a high-volume production and construction setting.

**Work Environment**
This position is based inside a large, high-volume production facility and active construction site. You will work extended shifts, typically from 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with operations scheduled seven days a week. The environment is fast-paced, with frequent movement of tools, materials, and equipment. You must provide and wear your own personal protective equipment (PPE), including hard hat, safety vest, and other required safety gear, and adhere to all site safety protocols at all times.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Taylor, TX.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $25.00/hr.
