Description Our client in San Diego, CA is seeking a detail-oriented Bookkeeper to support daily accounting operations and help maintain accurate financial records. This role is ideal for someone with strong organizational skills, hands-on bookkeeping experience, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities: + Maintain accurate financial records and ensure all transactions are properly recorded + Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions + Reconcile bank accounts, credit card statements, and general ledger accounts + Prepare journal entries and assist with month-end close activities + Manage invoicing, billing, and collections support + Assist with payroll processing and related recordkeeping + Generate financial reports and support internal reporting needs + Review and maintain expense records and supporting documentation + Communicate with vendors, clients, and internal departments to resolve discrepancies + Support audits and assist with ad hoc accounting projects as needed Requirements + 2+ years of bookkeeping or general accounting experience + Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Excel + Strong attention to detail and accuracy + Solid understanding of debits, credits, and general ledger activity + Excellent organizational and communication skills + Associate's degree in accounting, finance, or related field preferred Preferred Skills: + Experience with QuickBooks, NetSuite, or similar accounting systems + Familiarity with payroll processing and bank reconciliations + Ability to work independently and collaboratively + Strong problem-solving skills and ability to meet deadlines Robert Half is the world's first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
