A Day in the Life:

The Senior Solutions Architect (or Pre-Sales Engineer) is a pre-sales technical professional with in-depth knowledge and expertise in enterprise IT storage, computing, networking, and applications solutions. You will interact directly with customers and other members of the sales and technical teams to conduct detailed discoveries of existing customer environments and technology objectives, then design solutions to meet business objectives. You will also have the opportunity to develop your skills by earning various manufacturer certifications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with sales account teams to develop and close client opportunities.
• Participate in sales and prospect visits regularly.
• Lead pre-sales discussions, discovering and defining customer requirements for data center solutions and services.
• Develop proposals that incorporate designs addressing clients' specific business needs.
• Whiteboard IT strategies, vendor recommendations, and business recommendations.
• Align customers' and prospects' business needs with technical solutions, presenting these solutions in terms of business benefits.
• Present technology roadmaps, trends, and industry priorities.
• Achieve vendor and manufacturer certifications as required.
• Perform related IT and sales duties as needed.

Qualifications:

• Associate's Degree or equivalent and 3+ years of related experience in computer/systems engineering, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Industry certifications (e.g., CCA, CCSP, VCP, VCDX, VTSP, VSP, CCNA, CCDA, MCSE, PMP).
• Minimum of 3 years' experience in data center solutions.
• Previous experience creating quotes or Statements of Work (SOWs).
• Strong technical knowledge or direct experience with enterprise solutions (HPE, Dell, Lenovo, Cisco, VMware, Microsoft, Aruba).
• Excellent interpersonal skills, with a focus on teamwork and the ability to foster and manage relationships across internal staff, customers, and C-level executives and clients.
