Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Analyst to join a respected nonprofit organization in Kansas City, Missouri. In this role, you will leverage your expertise in data and financial analysis to support organizational goals. This position requires strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and effective communication skills to collaborate across teams. Responsibilities: - Analyze complex datasets to identify trends, insights, and actionable recommendations. - Conduct financial analyses to support budgeting, forecasting, and reporting activities. - Develop and maintain detailed reports and dashboards using Microsoft Excel. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data accuracy and integrity. - Provide insights and recommendations to improve operational efficiency and program outcomes. - Assist in preparing presentations and reports for stakeholders and leadership. - Monitor and evaluate key performance indicators to track progress against organizational objectives. - Ensure compliance with data governance policies and maintain confidentiality of sensitive information. - Perform ad hoc analyses to support special projects or initiatives as needed. Requirements - At least 1 year of experience in data analysis or a related field. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on accuracy and attention to detail. - Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions such as pivot tables and formulas. - Solid understanding of financial analysis principles and methodologies. - Excellent verbal and written communication skills to present findings effectively. - Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment. - Familiarity with nonprofit organizations is a plus but not required.
