Description We are looking for a dedicated and personable Customer Service Representative to join our team in Grand Rapids, Michigan. As part of the Machinery Manufacturing industry, you will play a crucial role in fostering strong customer relationships and ensuring satisfaction through attentive service. This is a long-term contract position offering a dynamic and fast-paced work environment where your communication and problem-solving skills will shine.
Responsibilities:
- Respond promptly to customer inquiries and provide accurate information through various communication channels.
- Draft and process written business correspondence with professionalism and attention to detail.
- Proactively identify customer needs and offer solutions, contributing to business development and referral goals.
- Deliver friendly and efficient customer service while maintaining a high level of accuracy.
- Collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders to resolve customer issues.
- Utilize Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems to manage and track customer interactions.
- Conduct thorough research to address and resolve complex customer inquiries.
- Assist with administrative tasks and maintain organized records.
- Navigate multiple computer systems and applications to support operational efficiency.
- Promote a positive and supportive attitude while handling customer interactions. Requirements - Minimum of 2 years' experience in a customer-focused and goal-driven environment.
- Superior verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Familiarity with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems such as Highrise, Insightly, or similar.
- Proven ability to solve complex issues through detailed research and analysis.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with partners, clients, and customers.
- Excellent organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.
