Job Brief: RMS Foods Inc. is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Quality Analyst to join our team. The Quality Analyst will play a crucial role in ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality and safety. Responsibilities:
Conduct routine inspections and quality checks on all incoming raw materials and finished products to ensure they meet company and regulatory standards
Identify and report any quality issues or discrepancies to the production team for resolution
Work closely with the production team to implement and maintain quality control processes
Monitor and track product quality performance, and identify areas for improvement
Develop and maintain quality control documents, including specifications, procedures, and reports
Conduct regular audits of production processes to ensure compliance with company and industry standards
Participate in new product development projects to ensure quality standards are met from concept to launch
Collaborate with external suppliers to ensure the quality of incoming materials meets company standards
Conduct sensory evaluations of products to ensure they meet taste and consistency requirements
Participate in external and internal food safety and quality audits
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Microbiology, or related field
2 years of experience in food quality control/assurance
Knowledge and understanding of FDA and USDA regulations and food safety standards
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Proficient in Microsoft Office and data analysis software
HACCP and SQF certification preferred
Familiarity with food sensory evaluation techniques
Flexible schedule to accommodate production schedule changes as needed
