Description We are looking for a dedicated Call Center Specialist to join our team in New Orleans, Louisiana. Responsibilities: - Handle incoming calls and inquiries, providing accurate and timely information to clients. - Assist clients with questions related to affordable housing programs, including Housing Choice Vouchers and LIHTC. - Maintain detailed records of client interactions using customer service software. - Resolve client concerns and escalate complex issues to the appropriate department when necessary. - Collaborate with team members to ensure consistent and high-quality service delivery. - Provide guidance on housing program eligibility and application processes. - Follow established protocols and procedures to maintain compliance with organizational standards. - Participate in ongoing training to stay updated on policies, systems, and best practices. - Communicate effectively with clients, demonstrating empathy and professionalism. - Support administrative tasks such as data entry and document management as needed. Requirements - Previous experience in a call center or customer service role. - Familiarity with affordable housing programs, including Housing Choice Vouchers and LIHTC. - Proficiency in customer service software and basic office tools. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills. - Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively. - High level of accuracy and attention to detail. - Willingness to learn and adapt to new procedures. - Commitment to providing excellent service in a non-profit environment.
