Community Interface Services is a non-profit organization that has empowered people with intellectual and developmental disabilities since 1983. Our mission is to provide quality, individualized, community-based support and training in employment, housing, community living, and financial management services.
Key Responsibilities
In our team-based environment, you will
- Answer phones and transfer calls to others as needed professionally and courteously.
- Handle customer questions and requests via phone and email with a sense of urgency and commitment to providing the highest quality of service.
- Inventory office supplies and purchase new supplies as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized office space that is welcoming to staff and visitors alike.
- Assist with setting up staff training sessions and cleaning up afterwards.
- Process financial transactions quickly and accurately.
- Conduct all business activities following widely recognized ethical standards; ensure confidentiality is not breached regarding financial, accounting, personnel, participant, and all other proprietary information; work to reduce the agency's vulnerability to waste, fraud, and abuse; comply with all safe work practices.

Success Factors
The successful candidate will have:
- High school diploma and one year of customer service or administrative experience in an office environment. A bachelor's degree in business, accounting, or finance is preferred.
- Bilingual English-Spanish.
- Strong customer service and oral communication skills, and the ability to work well with others in a team environment.
- Flexibility and adaptability to change.
- The ability to solve problems and make sound decisions.
- High attention to detail and experience processing a high volume of transactions quickly and accurately.
- Dependability, reliability, and ability to follow through on commitments.
