Description We are looking for an experienced Controller to join our team on a contract basis in Portland, Oregon. This role is ideal for someone with a background in media or marketing agency operations. You will play a key role in optimizing client billing workflows and supporting our financial processes. Responsibilities: - Collaborate with account directors, the controller, and other stakeholders to design efficient workflows for client billables and invoicing. - Provide strategic guidance to align Workamajig settings with recommended billing processes. - Participate in planning meetings and contribute insights to streamline financial operations. - Assist the controller in implementing workflow adjustments within Workamajig for improved efficiency. - Offer expertise on media and marketing agency financial practices to support operational goals. - Evaluate and refine processes to enhance the accuracy and timeliness of invoicing. Requirements - Familiarity with QuickBooks and other financial tools. - Ability to analyze and refine workflows for billing and invoicing. - Excellent communication skills to collaborate with stakeholders. - Experience with financial statement preparation and reporting.
