Job Description
Description Our client in Phoenix, AZ, is seeking a skilled Bookkeeper to support the company's accounting operations on a temp-to-hire basis. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of bookkeeping processes and expertise with Oracle, contributing to accurate financial reporting and efficient record-keeping. Key Responsibilities: + Maintain general ledger and ensure accurate and timely entry of financial transactions. + Reconcile accounts, including bank statements, credit cards, and other financial accounts. + Prepare invoices, track payments, and manage accounts payable and receivable functions. + Perform weekly and monthly accounting tasks, including financial reporting and analysis. + Assist in month-end and year-end closings, ensuring all records are updated and accurate. + Maintain organized and detailed documentation of financial transactions for compliance purposes. + Collaborate with the accounting team to streamline processes and strengthen internal controls. + Support audit preparations and provide needed financial data when required. Requirements + Experience: 2+ years of bookkeeping or related accounting experience. + Education: Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred (or equivalent work experience). + Software Skills: Proficiency in Oracle is required. + Strong command of Microsoft Excel, including the ability to use formulas, organize data, and generate reports. + High attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and financial reporting. + Excellent organizational and time management skills to handle multiple priorities and deadlines. + Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
