YOUR ROLE AS A LABORER - CONCRETE FINISHER

As a Laborer – Concrete Finisher, you will work outdoors on residential and commercial construction sites, performing a range of tasks related to concrete and asphalt installation and site preparation. You will be responsible for mixing, placing, and finishing concrete, setting up and dismantling forms and temporary structures, and maintaining clean, organized job sites. Your responsibilities will include operating tools such as jackhammers, saws, drills, and compactors; transporting materials; assisting skilled tradespeople and foremen; and helping to lead and educate crew members. You will also be required to operate single-axle dump trucks and other work vehicles safely and reliably while adhering to safety standards and procedures at all times.

YOUR SCHEDULE

This is a full-time position with varying hours depending on project demands. Some job sites may require early morning start times to ensure project deadlines and quality standards are met.

REQUIREMENTS FOR A LABORER - CONCRETE FINISHER

• 1+ years of experience in construction, concrete finishing, asphalt paving, site grading, or pavement maintenance
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and measurements
• Experience with placing concrete from a truck, buggy, or pump
• Proficiency in flatwork, ADA ramps, patio drip edges, wall and curb forms, stairs, and screening
• Ability to efficiently and independently use tools like steel trowels, floats, edgers, and bull floats
• Strong knowledge of grades, form setting, and print reading
