Job Purpose: To oversee all personnel working on his/her shift and efficiently manage production in die cutting and folding operations on his/her shift

Main Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

1. Supervise all personnel in all departments regarding safety, procedures, workflow, incidents, schedules, and any other related matters
2. Oversee production in die cutting and folding operations to meet or exceed customer quality and timeliness standards
3. Manage personnel in these 2 departments including training, job duties, schedules, safety, procedures, motivation, discipline, time off, performance reviews, and accountability
4. Supervise quality control/inspection procedures for these departments
5. Coordinate efforts and communicate daily with previous shift supervisor and subsequent shift supervisor to maintain efficient & timely workflow, consistent procedures, and proper employee staffing
6. Work closely with Schedule Manager and Plant Manager to produce jobs on time and make necessary adjustments to schedule
7. Lead employees by setting a good example of being on-time, helping constantly, being available, covering other shifts as needed, having a supportive attitude, etc.
8. Maintain organization and cleanliness of these departments including equipment and work areas
9. Contribute ideas and implement changes regarding new equipment and procedures to enhance efficiency, safety, and/or profitability of company
10. Lock Out Tag Out Role: Authorized Employee
11. Perform any other duties as deemed necessary by company management
12. Execute the responsibilities of this position in a lawful and ethical manner
