**How you'll make an impact in this role**
+ **Direct High-Stakes Patient Safety Operations** by overseeing the intake and triage of safety events and leading the **Safety Event Review Team (SERT)** in a highly regulated environment.
+ **Master Root Cause Analysis (RCA/ACA)** to investigate safety incidents, identify clinical trends, and implement systemic improvements to mitigate future risks.
+ **Lead Centralized Clinical Onboarding** by facilitating weekly orientations for all new hires, including Providers, APPs, MAs, and clinical staff across various regions.
+ **Execute Medicare Advantage & Value-Based Care Administration** by ensuring the program meets all CMS requirements and maintains the integrity of **HEDIS and eCQM** performance measures.
+ **Architect Clinic Workflows** by designing and adopting standardized protocols that align with both clinical excellence and operational efficiency.
+ **Forge Clinical Partnerships** by collaborating with staff and the Safety Manager during on-site clinic visits and attending daily patient safety huddles to promote a culture of transparency.
+ **Leverage Advanced Analytics** by utilizing EHR systems (Athena preferred) and data tools like Looker or Tableau to translate complex safety data into actionable quality initiatives.
**What minimum requirements you'll need**
Education:
+ High School diploma equivalency with 3 years of cumulative experience OR Associate'sdegree/Bachelor's degree with 2 years of cumulative experience OR 7 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
+ 3 years of leadership or management experience preferred.
**What additional preferences we're seeking**
+ **Specialized Quality Experience:** 3-5+ years in healthcare quality, patient safety, or population health.
+ **Value-Based Care Expertise:** 2-3+ years of experience within **ACO (Accountable Care Organization) , MSSP, or Medicare Advantage** frameworks.
+ **Administrative Mastery:** Proven experience specifically in **Medicare Advantage Administration** is a critical requirement.
+ **Investigative Proficiency:** Hands-on experience with patient safety event management (SERT or equivalent) and conducting thorough RCA/ACA investigations.
+ **Regulatory & Technical Knowledge:** Strong command of CMS requirements, HEDIS measures, and EHR navigation (Athena preferred).
+ **Adaptability:** The ability to manage a diverse workload across various clinic sizes, including Rural Health Clinics and centralized university systems.
