We're now hiring a proactive and experienced Safety Manager to support a high-profile data center construction project in Mt. Pleasant, WI. If you have strong mechanical safety experience, thrive in fast-paced environments, and are ready for night-shift leadership, this is your chance to take the lead.


Compensation:

💲 Hourly Rate: $48 - $52/hr
🍽 Per Diem: $125/day (paid on days worked; full week = 7-day per diem)
💸 Pay Frequency: Weekly
🎯 Completion Bonus: Not offered on this project


Schedule:

🕒 Hours: 60 hrs/week
📅 Days: Monday - Saturday
🌙 Shift: Night Shift | 5:00 PM - 3:30 AM


Project Scope:

As the on-site Safety Manager, you'll lead safety efforts on a large-scale mechanical install involving over 200,000 ft of pipe and water lines. With 130+ tradesmen on-site, you'll manage risk, enforce compliance, and foster a culture of safety across mechanical, piping, and civil scopes.


Qualifications:

✅ OSHA 510 Certification (Required)
✅ BCSP Certification (CHST, CSP, ASP, STS-C) - Preferred
✅ 5+ years of construction safety experience
✅ 3+ years of mechanical systems experience (data center or electrical projects preferred)
✅ Bilingual (English/Spanish) - a plus
✅ Rigging Experience - Preferred


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead daily safety meetings and pre-task planning sessions
  • Conduct job hazard analyses (JSAs) and regular site inspections
  • Manage permitting processes and LOTO protocols
  • Oversee equipment inspections and PPE compliance
  • Maintain accurate safety records and incident documentation
  • Support field teams in real-time hazard recognition and mitigation

Skills:

  • Strong leadership presence and decision-making ability
  • Excellent public speaking and communication skills
  • Organized, detailed, and responsive in high-pressure environments
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
  • Experience with digital safety platforms (Procore, SiteDocs, etc.)

Knowledge Base:

Deep understanding of OSHA 29 CFR 1926 and safety best practices in mechanical and utility-heavy construction environments. Able to interpret and apply standards effectively to field operations.
