Medical Office Assistant - Part-Time We are seeking a professional and organized Part‑Time Medical Office Assistant to join our clinic. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a patient‑facing environment and has strong experience working with insurance verification and front‑office clinical support. Key Responsibilities + Greet patients and manage check‑in and check‑out processes + Verify insurance coverage across multiple payers and plans + Collect co‑pays, update patient demographics, and maintain accurate records + Assist with basic medical office tasks as needed Requirements + 2+ years of experience as a Medical Office Assistant + Strong communication and customer‑service skills + High School Diploma or GED required + Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a clinical front‑office setting + Prior medical office or medical assisting experience strongly preferred + Knowledge of EMR systems Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of San Antonio, TX.
