**Job Description** The Summer Intern is a part-time, temporary position within the Global Health Informatics team at the Arnhold Institute for Global Health (AIGH) at Mount Sinai. The team is currently supporting the development and implementation of digital health initiatives for the country of Guyana. Under the supervision of the Global Health Informatics Senior Program Manager, the intern will assist with projects related to these initiatives, including the development of a national health information system and related digital health infrastructure. The role includes contributing to the preparation and review of project deliverables such as project plans, technology proposals and evaluations, analyses, and training materials prepared for the Guyana Ministry of Health (MOH). The intern will collaborate with members of the Global Health Informatics team and other Mount Sinai consultants supporting Guyana's health system initiatives, including work related to health workforce strategy, health systems strengthening, and digital health implementation. **Qualifications** + High School Diploma or GED required; Associates or greater depending on department and role. + At least two years of completed college coursework and currently pursuing an undergraduate degree. + Demonstrated interest in healthcare, global health, health informatics, public health, or related fields. + Basic experience or familiarity with healthcare, research, public health, or health technology environments. + Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint). **Responsibilities** + Support the activities of the Global Health Informatics team in advancing digital health initiatives in Guyana. + Collaborate with health informatics colleagues and members of the Mount Sinai Guyana consultancy team in areas including: + Health and technology workforce strategy + Health systems strengthening + Related programmatic initiatives emerging from broader team activities + Assist with the development, review, and preparation of project documentation and deliverables, including: + Project plans + Technology proposals and evaluations + REDCap data collection instruments and forms + Analytical summaries and reports + Training materials and other documentation prepared for the Guyana Ministry of Health (MOH) + Participate in team meetings, client meetings, and departmental meetings as required. + Provide administrative and project coordination support for team initiatives. The salary range for the role is $16.5 - $33.242 Hourly. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, education, and hospital need. The salary range or contractual rate listed does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits.
