What the Role Involves

Town & Country Credit Union is seeking a Systems Administrator to support and optimize our IT infrastructure. In this critical role, you'll work closely with the VP of Information Technology to ensure the reliability, security, and performance of our server and storage environments. If you're a tech-savvy professional with a passion for problem-solving and continuous improvement, we'd love to hear from you.

What You'll Do

  • Assist in the design, installation, administration, and security of server infrastructure.
  • Support and monitor backups, server updates, and critical business applications.
  • Troubleshoot escalated help desk issues and provide technical support across departments.
  • Configure and maintain virtualization (VMware preferred), SANs, and blade server environments.
  • Configure and maintain Active Directory, Group Policies and File Permissions
  • Support and manage cloud applications including O365.
  • Mentor and train the Junior Systems Administrator.
  • Maintain strong relationships with end users and vendors.
  • Contribute to long-term strategic IT initiatives and projects.

What You Bring to the Table

  • Candidates with at least three years of relevant experience in a Systems Administrator or similar role are preferred. While formal education is not required, strong hands-on experience and proven technical skills are essential.
  • Solid knowledge of server and storage infrastructure, network concepts, and desktop systems.
  • Experience with system updates, backups, virtualization (VMware preferred), and cloud-based services (O365 preferred).
  • Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to resolve hardware/software issues quickly.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to multitask and adapt to shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment.
