Located in Mineral, Virginia, Tributer Resort spans 1,000 acres bordering Lake Anna and is poised to become a premier destination in Virginia. The development plan includes over 800 residential entitlements, featuring estate homes and homesites, executive homesites, cottages, villas, townhomes and luxury condominium accommodations. The resort's planned amenities include a spa & wellness center, multiple restaurants, social and conference meeting space and a rich array of resort activities all anchored by the prestigious Cutalong Golf Club.

Position Overview:

Our food and beverage team at Cutalong at Tributer Resort is seeking a friendly, efficient, and customer-oriented Lead Bartender to join our team. This role combines hands-on bartending with leadership responsibilities, including supervising bar staff, maintaining inventory, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. The ideal candidate has strong mixology skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to lead by example in a fast-paced environment.

General responsibilities include:

• Supervisor daily bar operations and assist in scheduling bartenders and other related staff
• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to recipes and customer preferences
• Greet guests, take drink orders, and provide friendly and attentive service
• Train, mentor, and support bar staff to ensure high service standards
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including equipment and glassware
• Check identification to verify legal age requirements for alcohol consumption
• Manage bar inventory and restock supplies as needed
• Process transactions using POS system; handle cash and credit card payments accurately
• Stay updated on menu items, promotions, and specials
• Follow all safety, sanitation, and alcohol service laws and procedures
• Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure seamless guest service
• Uphold a positive and energetic atmosphere at the bar

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a bartender preferred (2+ years ideal); previous supervisory experience is preferred
• BarSmarts certification required upon hiring
• State alcohol card required
• Knowledge of popular cocktails, beer, wine, and spirits
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Basic math skills and familiarity with POS systems
• Must meet minimum age requirements for serving alcohol
• Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Physically able to stand for long periods and lift up to 30 lbs
