The Billing Specialist primary responsibilities include all aspects of the billing process. Which includes but is not limited to claim creation, claim scrubbing and submission, payment posting, rejection management, Accounts Receivable follow up, sending of statements, and collection management. Cross trains with other billing staff to be familiar enough to perform each separate function. Employee should maintain a professional image and manner in dealing with patients and visitors. Works with and has access to confidential patient information. Attendance is an essential job function. This position requires compliance with 1st Choice Healthcare's compliance standards, including its Standards of Conduct, Compliance Program, and policies and procedures.

Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED required.
Excellent computer skills is a must
Medical billing experience is preferred
Knowledge of Electronic medical records a plus!
Perform all duties within HIPAA regulations
This is a Safety Sensitive position(the use of a Medical Marijuana card is prohibited according to Act 593).
Facial Piercings are not allowed.
Must pass a criminal background check and drug screen.
