Job Description
Education/Experience/Certifications or Licenses: Associate Degree in Engineering mechanical, electrical, electronic, industrial or chemistry. Experience 3 or more years of experience in manufacturing, processes and environment advanced complexity industrial equipment, Bachelor's degree in mechanical, electrical, electronic, industrial or chemical engineering. Experience 1 year or less of experience in manufacturing environment, processes and industrial equipment of advanced complexity, may include experience in projects such as: Capstone, COOP or Work Practices. Skills/Knowledge: - Knowledge of programs such as WISPER, PcAT/TDM, ENOVIA and AS400, Auto CAD, 3D modeling, Pro-E - Knowledge of reading plans and using measuring equipment; OGP, Comparator, CMM, Optical Comparator, Height Gages, etc. - Basic knowledge in Product Structure, Bill or Material generation and base of engineering data. - Extensive knowledge of breaker manufacturing (assembly, testing, reworking and troubleshooting) and root cause analysis and forensic investigations of product failures. - Skills in computer programs such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook. - Good communication skills in English and Spanish. - Demonstrate leadership and initiative, work efficiently under little supervision and be able to work on projects individually. - Use and care of personal protective equipment. - Understand how all the equipment in the MET laboratory works and its limitations. - Comply with the laboratory's operational processes. Such as the 5S+ "checklist", Safety Operator checklist, Test Procedure checklist. - Create and maintain a safe work environment, following the Job Safety Analysis and the Ergonomics analysis of the MESH program. **Pay Details:** $25.00 to $25.25 per hour Benefit offerings available for our associates include short-term disability and additional voluntary benefits including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, commuter benefits and a 401K plan.
