**Job Title: CDL Driver/ Heavy Equipment Operator** **Job Description** As a **CDL Driver/ Heavy Equipment Operator** , you will be a critical part of our Environmental Services team supporting industrial cleaning and emergency response operations. You will work in a variety of industrial environments such as power plants, chemical plants, and manufacturing facilities, operating heavy equipment and specialty vehicles while maintaining the highest safety and quality standards. ****CDL A ACTIVE & MINIMUM 2 YEARS** Tanker/Hazmat Endorsement is a plus** ****Heavy Equipment Operation Experience**** **Responsibilities** + Operate heavy equipment including excavators, skid steers, forklifts, and other industrial equipment. + Perform industrial cleaning, tank cleaning, and drum processing activities. + Participate in environmental remediation and emergency response operations as part of a team. + Load, unload, set up, and break down equipment for job sites. + Inspect, operate, and maintain equipment to ensure safe and efficient performance. + Report equipment or vehicle issues to supervisors promptly. + Follow all safety procedures, wear required PPE, and adhere to company policies. + Maintain clean and organized work and break areas. + Assist with general construction, equipment decontamination, and basic vehicle maintenance as needed. + Complete daily timesheets and ensure proper equipment readiness. + Communicate clearly with supervisors regarding job progress, safety, and quality concerns. **Essential Skills** + High school diploma or GED equivalent. + Previous experience in environmental services, industrial work, construction, or contracting preferred. + Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions. + Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and industrial environments. + Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills preferred. + Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and perform physically demanding tasks. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience operating heavy equipment such as excavators, skid steers, bulldozers, or forklifts. + 40-hour HAZWOPER certification preferred (or willingness to obtain). + Ability to work in confined spaces and at elevated heights. + Strong teamwork skills and a positive, safety-focused attitude. **Why Work Here?** Join a **family-owned and operated company with over 33 years of industry experience** .
