**Job Summary and Responsibilities** As an Educator, you will be a vital contributor to the planning, coordination, and delivery of essential healthcare-related educational and training programs. Every day, you will actively assist in scheduling and conducting diverse healthcare training programs. You will also provide direct coordination and/or instruction in various educational initiatives, ensuring effective learning experiences for all participants. To be successful in this role, you will combine strong organizational and presentation skills with a deep understanding of healthcare education, a passion for teaching, and the ability to effectively engage and train diverse groups of healthcare professionals and staff. + Acts as documentation and coding liaison to clinicians to include review, education, and necessary follow-up to help ensure that clinical documentation and coding services meet government and organizational policies and procedures. + Analyzes and provides education on revenue capture, clinical documentation including Electronic Health Record (EHR) requirements, coding accuracy and denial management to clinicians and clinic staff. + Assists in determining educational needs based on documentation reviews, provider/staff feedback, data analysis (bell curves). + Performs a minimum of an annual review of each clinician in their assigned specialties to identify clinical documentation and coding areas that require improvement and additional education. + Reviews documentation and coding for new providers for accuracy and charge capture as per standard. + Prepares necessary reports and communicates results of audits to management, clinicians, and committees as appropriate. **Job Requirements** Required + Certified Professional Coder, upon hire or + Certified Professional Coder Hospital Apprentice, upon hire or + Certified Professional Coder Apprentice, upon hire or + Certified Coding Associate, upon hire or + Cardiology Coding, upon hire or + Certified Coding Specialist, upon hire or + Certified Coding Specialist - Physician Based, upon hire or + Certified Cardiovascular and Thoracic Surgery Coder, upon hire or + Certified Health Care Compliance, upon hire or + Certified Interventional Radiology Cardio Coder, upon hire or + Certified Professional Coder Hospital, upon hire or + Radiology Certified Coder, upon hire or + Registered Health Information Administrator, upon hire or + Registered Health Information Technician, upon hire **Where You'll Work** From primary to specialty care, as well as walk-in and virtual services, CHI Health Clinic delivers more options and better access so you can spend time on what matters: being healthy.
