Job Description
Salary: $1400 / Week The Surgical Technician/Tissue Processing Technician isresponsible for the sterilization of surgical equipment, arrange surgicalequipment and adjust medical tools to ensure that the surgical devices arefunctioning properly. Minimum Requirements: + Surgical Technologist certification as applicable per stateand/or client requirement + One year experience as a Surgical Technician preferred(Tissue Processing Technologist - only) + Degree in biology related field which includes a degree /certification as a Surgical Technologist preferred + Current CPR if applicable + TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable + Current Health certificate (per contract or stateregulation) + Must meet all federal, state and local requirements + Must be at least 18 years of age Amergis staffing is currently seeking Certified Surgical Technologists for a contract in Chicago, Illinois! Position Details: Location: Swedish Covenant Hospital Contract Length: 6 weeks + likelihood of extension Number of Openings: 3 Start Date: 06/16/25 Hours/Shifts/Schedules: 7am-5:30pm (40 hrs/week) Monday, Tuesday, Thursday & Friday. No on call! Qualifications needed: 2+ years of experience as a Surgical Technician. CST preferred. Must have experience in Ortho, Robotics, and Spine. Able to float to surgery center. ASAP Start.
