Position Overview
We're seeking a flexible, enthusiastic Registered Dental Hygienist to serve as a Float Hygienist across our Columbus-area locations. This role supports practices in Worthington Hills, Canal Winchester, Upper Arlington, and Grove City, based on team and patient care needs. Key Responsibilities
Deliver comprehensive dental cleanings, including scaling, polishing, and fluoride treatments
Evaluate oral health, take digital X-rays, and collaborate with dentists on treatment plans
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene and preventive care
Maintain infection control protocols through sterilization and operatory turnover
Accurately document patient records and treatment plans in dental software
Provide compassionate, patient-centered care in every interaction
Travel to designated locations as scheduled based on office coverage needs
Qualifications
Active Ohio Dental Hygiene License
Local anesthesia and nitrous oxide certification preferred
Proficiency with digital radiography and dental technology
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Flexibility and adaptability to work in different clinical environments
Prior experience with dental software is a plus
Must have reliable transportation and willingness to travel across Columbus-area offices
