Job Title: Payload Systems Verification and Validation Engineer
Job Description
As a Payload Systems Verification and Validation Engineer, you will define, analyze, and validate system and subsystem requirements for payloads. You will develop and execute verification plans, including defining test strategies, writing test procedures, and analyzing results.
Responsibilities
+ Perform FDIR (Fault Detection and Recovery) related tasks.
+ Lead or support system-level payload test campaigns, both at equipment and spacecraft level.
+ Interface with payload hardware and software teams to ensure correct implementation and traceability of requirements.
+ Participate in technical reviews and support anomaly investigation and resolution.
Essential Skills
+ Proficiency in platform verification software and validation.
+ Experience with Verification and Validation (V&V) processes.
+ Knowledge of flight software and satellite assembly integration and testing.
+ Experience in requirements verification by test.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Experience with space or constellation operations.
+ Proficiency in automated testing.
+ Knowledge of requirement management tools such as DOORS, Windchill, and JAMA.
Work Environment
This is a remote opportunity with 25% international travel.

This is a Contract position based out of Los Angeles, CA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $55.00 - $90.00/hr.
