Job Description

Gratitude Lodge is a Detoxification Facility located in Long Beach offering Detox/Residential levels of care, focusing on substance abuse as well as co-occurring psychiatric disorders. We are look for a professional and compassionate BHT's to help support our mission in providing exceptional patient care.


A. Job Duties and Responsibilities

  1. Follows and enforces the company's policies, procedures and protocols
  2. Completes client intakes in EMR upon admission.
  3. Types and performs data entry as needed for communication purposes
  4. Organizes and uploads documents to client files (if applicable)
  5. Conforms to all necessary quality assurance standards
  6. Greets scheduled visitors and coordinates to appropriate area or person
  7. Follows up with facility rules and expectations, and helps clients comply with contracts
  8. Drug tests clients effectively according to waived testing procedures
  9. Conducts rounds per company policy
  10. Organizes cleaning supplies and materials
  11. Makes copies of printed materials
  12. Conduct med pass with clients
  13. "Observes and Reports" for overall client care
  14. Performs all necessary documentation regarding clients
  15. Communicates effectively with supervisor regarding completion of job duties and responsibilities

B. Expectations

D. Minimum Qualifications

Education, Experience, and Licensure

  • Is certified as a drug and alcohol counselor or registered as a recovery worker
  • Has a high school diploma or equivalent

Knowledge

  • An understanding of counseling and other treatment procedures for alcoholism and drug addiction related problems
  • A knowledge of regulations concerning alcoholism and drug addiction treatment
  • Working knowledge of alcoholism and drug addiction and treatment procedures for such illness
