As a critical member of our maintenance department, you will be responsible for the inspection, repair, and maintenance of train axles. **Responsibilities:** + Perform routine inspections, repairs, and maintenance on train axles + Troubleshoot and diagnose axle-related issues + Utilize specialized tools and equipment to perform repairs + Adhere to strict safety protocols and guidelines + Collaborate with other maintenance teams to ensure optimal equipment performance **Qualifications:** + Proven experience as a maintenance mechanic or similar role + Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills + Proficiency in using various hand and power tools + Knowledge of welding and fabrication techniques (preferred) + Ability to work independently and as part of a team + Strong attention to detail and safety-oriented mindset LSI Staffing is An Equal Opportunity Employer.
