**Job Title: Entry-Level Carburetor Assembler**
**Job Description**
A distribution center that manufactures automotive parts is seeking a mechanically inclined individual to join their team as an Entry-Level Carburetor Assembler. This role involves assembling carburetors and related components using hand and power tools. Ideal candidates will have strong attention to detail, basic mechanical skills, and a willingness to learn in a fast-paced production environment.
**Responsibilities**
+ Assemble carburetors and subcomponents following technical drawings, diagrams, and work instructions.
+ Operate hand tools (e.g., screwdrivers, pliers, wrenches) and power tools (e.g., drills, pneumatic tools) safely and effectively.
+ Perform visual inspections to ensure quality and accuracy of assembled units.
+ Maintain a clean and organized workstation.
+ Follow safety guidelines and standard operating procedures.
+ Communicate any issues or defects to the supervisor.
+ Support inventory control and parts tracking as needed.
**Essential Skills**
+ Experience using hand tools and power tools.
+ Mechanical inclination with a basic understanding of mechanical systems and components.
+ Ability to read and follow detailed instructions and diagrams.
+ Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity.
+ Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
+ Willingness to learn and adapt in a manufacturing environment.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Experience in assembly line environments is advantageous.
+ Familiarity with blueprint reading is beneficial.

**Work Environment**
The work environment is typically loud due to machinery such as forklifts operating within the facility. The dress code requires plain shirts, jeans without holes, and closed-toed shoes. The standard work hours are Monday to Thursday from 6am to 2:30pm, and Friday from 5am to 1:30pm.
**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Brea, California.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
