**General Construction Laborers -** **_Urgently Hiring!_**
Pay: $20-$22/hr | Overtime Opportunities | Prevailing Wage Work| Portland, ME
Are you a skilled laborer looking to be part of a high-impact waterfront project? Join our experienced and supportive team as we revitalize the iconic Cape Porpoise Pier! This is your chance to work on a meaningful project that includes:
+ Replacing the historic bait shed
+ Building a brand-new Harbormaster office
+ Upgrading fuel tanks and systems
+ Expanding the pier for greater access
+ Installing a modern float system and pump-out station for recreational boats
**What You'll Do:**
+ Assist with structural replacements and new builds
+ Operate tools and equipment for timber and concrete work
+ Support welding and mechanical tasks (MIG/TIG)
+ Perform general labor and site prep duties
+ Work outdoors in a dynamic, hands-on environment
**What We're Looking For:**
+ 1-2 years of construction experience
+ Strong mechanical aptitude
+ Proficiency with cutting torches and welding
+ Experience with heavy timber and concrete
+ Ability to lift 50-70 lbs and work on your feet
+ Familiarity with power tools and safety protocols

**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $23.00/hr.
