LHH Recruitment Solutions is working with a well-established law firm in Madison, NJ, known for our commitment to legal excellence, client service, and a collaborative workplace culture. As they continue to grow, they are seeking a passionate and strategic Talent Acquisition & Employee Engagement Specialist to join the Human Resources team and help attract, retain, and engage top legal and administrative talent.
The Talent Acquisition & Employee Engagement Specialist will play a key role in shaping the firm’s talent strategy and culture. This individual will be responsible for full-cycle recruiting, onboarding, and developing programs that enhance employee engagement, retention, and workplace satisfaction.
Talent Acquisition
Manage full-cycle recruitment for attorney, paralegal, and administrative roles
Partner with hiring managers to define job requirements and candidate profiles
Source candidates through various channels including job boards, networking, and professional associations
Screen, interview, and coordinate candidate assessments and background checks
Maintain a strong candidate pipeline and applicant tracking system (ATS)
Support employer branding initiatives and job fair participation
Employee Engagement & Culture
Design and implement employee engagement initiatives including surveys, recognition programs, wellness activities, and social events
Monitor employee satisfaction and work with HR leadership to improve retention and morale
Support internal communications, onboarding programs, and firm culture activities
Partner with department heads on team-building strategies and inclusion efforts
Additional Responsibilities
Track and analyze hiring metrics and engagement KPIs
Assist with HR compliance and policy updates as needed
Provide support during performance review cycles and new hire orientations
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
3+ years of experience in recruiting and/or employee engagement (law firm or professional services experience preferred)
Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills
Excellent communication, organization, and multitasking abilities
Proficiency with applicant tracking systems and MS Office Suite
Knowledge of employment law and HR best practices
