Description We are looking for a Registration Specialist to join our team in Washington, District of Columbia. This is a long-term contract position that offers a hybrid work environment, allowing you to work remotely four days a week and spend one day in the office. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing event registrations, maintaining accurate data records, and providing exceptional customer service. Responsibilities: - Coordinate the creation and publication of organizational events, ensuring all details are accurately reflected. - Update and manage event records in Salesforce, maintaining consistency and accuracy. - Process daily registration updates, including confirmations, cancellations, substitutions, and modifications. - Address payment-related inquiries, serving as a liaison with the finance team. - Provide excellent customer service support to event participants and stakeholders. - Ensure seamless data entry and documentation of all registration activities. - Respond to inbound calls and emails related to event registration and logistical queries. - Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth execution of registration processes. Requirements - Proven experience in event registration, hospitality, or travel coordination. - Familiarity with CRM systems, particularly Salesforce. - Strong customer service skills with a focus on effective communication. - Ability to multitask and stay organized while managing multiple priorities. - Keen attention to detail in data entry and documentation. - Proficiency in handling inbound calls and resolving inquiries efficiently. - Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a hybrid work environment.
