**Hiring for a Travelling position - $28-40 starting base pay - Travel role with Per Diem - Can start ASAP!!!** We are seeking a skilled Commercial Supermarket Refrigeration Installer to join our team. This role focuses on the installation, assembly, and startup of supermarket refrigeration systems, including extensive in‑case copper brazing work. The ideal candidate is detail‑oriented, safety‑focused, and experienced in commercial refrigeration installation environments. **Key Responsibilities:** - Install commercial supermarket refrigeration systems and components - Perform compressor installations and refrigerated case installation - Execute copper pipe fitting and brazing, including in‑case brazing - Replace defective parts and components as needed - Assist with refrigerant recovery, replacement, evacuation, and charging - Perform basic electrical diagnostics and troubleshooting - Insulate piping and ensure installations meet quality and safety standards - Utilize test and diagnostic equipment including meters, gauges, reclaim machines, and vacuum pumps - Follow lockout/tagout and jobsite safety procedures - Communicate technical information clearly with customers, vendors, and internal teams **Additional Job Details:** - This role supports new installations and remodels/refurbishments of commercial supermarket refrigeration systems at grocery stores throughout the Midwest and Southeast - Work is performed in traveling crews of 6-8 technicians - Project durations typically range from 2 weeks to 18 weeks - Consistent, year‑round work - technicians generally roll directly from one project to the next with minimal downtime - Flexibility is built in: when schedules allow, technicians can return home for weekends and may request time off between projects as needed - Work schedule is 10‑hour night shifts, typically 8:00 PM - 6:00 AM - Standard work week runs Sunday night through Thursday morning - Average weekly hours are approximately 45-50 hours If you would like to schedule a call with me when you are available, please CLICK HERE (https://calendly.com/nivi-aerotek/30min) .
