YOUR DAY AS A GENERAL AUTO TECHNICIAN

Each morning, you'll arrive by 8AM and get started on the day's scheduled services and repairs. Your responsibilities will include oil changes, tire rotations, fluid checks, and replacing minor components like filters and wiper blades. Using a shop-provided tablet, you'll perform digital vehicle inspections to check on things like brakes, suspension, and battery condition. If you have-or are working toward-a State Inspector License, you'll also complete official vehicle inspections. Throughout the day, you'll perform basic mechanical work such as brake service, suspension repairs, battery replacements, and starting/charging system tests. You'll help keep the shop running smoothly by supporting senior technicians, staying organized and clean, and keeping safety a top priority. Communication with fellow team members will be important as you share updates and automotive service needs.

Here's what we're looking for in our ideal General Auto Technician:

• Valid State Inspector License, or the willingness to obtain one
• Valid driver's license
• High school diploma or equivalent
• 3+ years of experience repairing vehicles
• Strong mechanical aptitude and a customer-focused mindset
• Ability to communicate clearly and work as part of a team
• Your own tools
