Harrington Bottling Company, a long-standing Pepsi bottler in Butte, Montana, is seeking a full-time Production Worker to join our reliable and hardworking production team. This role is an excellent opportunity for individuals who enjoy staying active, contributing to a collaborative environment, and taking pride in producing high‑quality beverage products. At HC, we value dependability, consistency, and the ability to work well with others. We are committed to creating a workplace where employees feel supported and empowered to grow within the company.
In this position, you will be responsible for operating and monitoring production equipment to ensure products meet strict quality and safety standards. The role requires attention to detail, the ability to follow established procedures, and a willingness to learn. While prior forklift experience is helpful, it is not a requirement; we provide training and certification for motivated candidates. This union position, represented by the International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers (IAM), offers competitive wages, stability, and long‑term career potential.
Daily tasks include starting and running machinery, observing equipment performance, and communicating any issues or irregularities to supervisors. The role also involves completing routine paperwork, maintaining cleanliness in work areas, and supporting smooth production flow through consistent attendance and a strong work ethic. Production Workers must be able to lift up to 70 pounds unassisted and occasionally use equipment to move heavier items. Because much of the shift is spent on your feet, comfort with physical work is essential.
The work environment includes exposure to moving mechanical parts, loud noise, and airborne particles. Employees may also encounter elevated work areas or chemical exposure, though proper safety equipment and training are provided at all times.
Candidates must possess a high school diploma or GED, be at least 18 years old, and live in the Butte, Montana area. Strong communication skills, basic math skills, and the ability to work respectfully with coworkers and supervisors are important for success in this position. Individuals with mechanical aptitude or prior forklift experience may find these skills beneficial, though they are not required.
Candidate must successfully pass a pre-employment background check as well as a drug and alcohol test.
