COMPENSATION:
Therapist I with Associate Licensure-$31.48-$32.57 per hour/$65,478 - $75,067 annually
Therapist II with Full Licensure-$38.41-$48.65 per hour/$72,300 - $101,192 annually.
SCHEDULE: Monday - Friday (24 Hour shift coverage) Night 11pm - 7am, Day 7am - 3pm, Swing 3pm - 11pm

As a new Outpatient Therapist at Wasatch Behavioral Health, you can expect a rewarding and structured daily routine. Your day will typically start at 8:00 AM and conclude at 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday. You will engage with clients through individual and group therapy sessions, providing evidence-based treatment tailored to their unique needs. In addition to direct client interactions, you will conduct assessments, developing treatment plans tailored to each client's needs, and document progress effectively. Collaboration with a multidisciplinary team will be key, allowing you to share insights and strategies that enhance client outcomes.
You’ll also participate in team meetings, focusing on continuous improvement and innovative approaches to care. As you settle into your role, expect to receive guidance and support from experienced colleagues, fostering your professional development while ensuring the highest standards of safety and integrity are maintained.
To excel as an Outpatient SUD Therapist at Wasatch Behavioral Health, candidates should possess a strong foundation in mental health practices.
Proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) software is essential for documenting client progress and treatment plans efficiently. You should also demonstrate critical thinking and problem-solving capabilities to navigate complex client scenarios effectively. Employment at Wasatch Behavioral Health is contingent upon successful completion of a drug screen, motor vehicle record review and criminal background check. After hire you must complete and receive a Criminal Background Clearance (BCI) from Utah State Office of Licensing. Upon receipt of a conditional offer of employment in the position, you must provide an official copy of licensure or certification.
