**About this role:**
Wells Fargo's Financial Crimes and Regulatory Operations Technology Team is seeking a **Senior** **Software Engineer** with experience using **OpenShift** and **Kubernetes Container** technologies. The **Financial Crimes and Regulatory Operations Technology Team** is responsible for **delivering best-in-class platforms, services, and solutions to improve effectiveness and efficiencie** s for Financial Crimes and Regulatory Operations throughout the enterprise.

This role will **drive modernization and innovation with a deliberate focus on enabling and delivering a cloud-native solutions** .
**In this role, you will:**
+ Provide technical knowledge around microservice and container-based solutions while leveraging domain driven design principles and development driven testing.
+ Lead and drive others across the team to effectively deliver and transform the way solutions are delivered across the enterprise. The team effectively partners with business stakeholders and drives the requirements gathering, strategy, roadmap, and prioritization of work to deliver next generation solutions to our business partners.
+ Aggressive modernization milestones and deliverables tied to the hosting strategy, cloud strategy, and modernization roadmap are tied to delivery.
+ The Lead Specialty Software Engineer must adopt and support a culture of diversity, intellectual curiosity, problem solving and openness.
+ Support complex engineering initiatives including those that are companywide with broad impact.
+ Resolve coding, testing and escalated platform issues of a technically challenging nature.
+ Ensure solutions are engineered to increase resiliency, operational efficiency and managed to mitigate risk.
+ Partner with production support and platform engineering teams effectively.
+ Enforce the adoption and implementation of modern design principles, standards and companywide best practices for engineering and implementing large-scale technology solutions.
+ Leverage your understanding of industry best practices and new technologies to influence and lead technology teams to meet deliverables and drive new initiatives.
+ Define opportunities to maximize resource utilization and improve processes while reducing cost.
+ Collaborate and consult with key technical experts, senior technology team, and external industry groups to resolve complex technical issues and achieve goals.
+ Work in a globally distributed team to provide innovative and robust Cloud centric solutions.
**Required Qualifications:**
+ 4+ years of Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
+ 4+ years of experience in Application Development in Java.
+ 3+ years of experience in Spring Boot.
+ 2 +years of experience in Kafka.
+ 2+ years of experience in Cloud Implementation (Azure, Kubernetes, Google, or PCF)
**Desired Qualifications:**
+ 3+ years of experience in Data Base Technologies such as Oracle or Mongo DB.
+ 2+ years of experience in Agile working environment such as Scrum or Kanban.
+ 2+ years of experience in Rest API.
+ 3+ years of experience in Business Process Orchestration
+ 2+ years' experience with API Gateway and Containerization
+ Ability to learn and adapt to new technologies and products.
