Job Description
Description We are looking for a skilled Security Analyst II to join our team in Allentown, Pennsylvania. In this role, you will play a critical part in safeguarding the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of information systems within the organization. This is a long-term contract position that offers a hybrid work schedule, combining in-office collaboration with remote flexibility.
Responsibilities:
- Design and implement cybersecurity architecture and processes to mitigate risks while supporting business objectives.
- Ensure the protection of sensitive information by monitoring and enhancing security measures.
- Provide leadership in the development of innovative solutions to address emerging cybersecurity challenges.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align security processes with business needs and ensure compliance.
- Offer guidance and coordination to Business Unit and IT management on cybersecurity audits and assessments.
- Stay updated on advancements in IT security tools, techniques, and certifications to strengthen the organization's security posture.
- Conduct high-level research to recommend strategic cybersecurity initiatives that address company-wide concerns.
- Advocate for cybersecurity best practices within the organization and manage relationships with external vendors.
- Escalate unresolved security exposures and compliance issues to management as necessary.
- Contribute to securing both traditional IT systems and operational technology (OT) environments. Requirements - Proven experience in audit and compliance processes within cybersecurity.
- Strong technical knowledge of networking concepts and cloud technologies.
- Familiarity with operational technology (OT) security controls.
- Demonstrated ability to design secure architectures and processes.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills for managing internal and external relationships.
- Proficiency in conducting research and recommending strategic security solutions.
- Advanced certifications in cybersecurity or related fields are a plus.
