**Job Title:** Accessibility Project/Program Manager
**Sector:** Higher Education
**Term:** 12 Month Contract (potential extension)
**Location:** Minneapolis, MN
**Work Model:** Hybrid or Remote
**Pay Range:** $70-$76/hr
**Position Summary**
The **Project / Program Manager role** serves to lead accessibility compliance initiatives and support companion application integration work, particularly related to **ARCC** , **Title II accessibility** , and **Workday companion projects** . This higher education client is subject to Title II accessibility requirements specifically around student-facing information (documents, PDFs, systems, applications).
**Primary Responsibilities:**
1. **Own the Accessibility Program**
2. Inventory student‑facing and internal‑facing documents
3. Classify and prioritize by compliance risk
4. Establish remediation workflows
5. Define roles and responsibilities across departments
6. **Manage Stakeholders**
7. Pull together IT, Teaching & Learning, Academic Affairs, Administration, and vendors
8. Align on timelines, tools, and ownership
9. **Build Sustainable Processes**
10. Document standards and procedures
11. Define how new documents are created compliantly going forward
12. Reduce reliance on ad‑hoc fixes
13. **Support Companion Project Work**
14. Assist with **Workday Student companion project planning**
15. Help inventory and prioritize 24-36 third‑party applications for integration
16. Coordinate technical and functional contributors
