Senior Accountant

Key Responsibilities
+ Support month-end close activities including journal entries, reconciliations, accruals, and financial reporting support
+ Oversee accounts receivable processes including billing, collections, and job-cost coordination
+ Assist with accounts payable oversight, vendor management, and cash flow coordination
+ Manage payroll review and processing activities through ADP
+ Partner with project managers and operations teams to improve billing accuracy and reporting
+ Assist with sales tax filings, 1099 processing, and compliance-related activities
+ Help document and improve accounting and administrative processes
+ Provide operational and administrative support during peak workloads
+ Supervise and mentor accounting support staff
Qualifications
+ 3+ years of progressive accounting experience within construction, contracting, or related industries
+ Strong understanding of debits/credits and core accounting fundamentals
+ Experience with construction billing and job costing (AIA billing experience strongly preferred)
+ Comfortable wearing multiple hats in a hands-on environment
+ Strong Excel skills
