Job Description

We're looking for a driven and self-motivated Strategic Account Executive to join our growing general business team.

This role will focus on developing new client relationships within the government, municipality, and utility sectors across all 50 states. You will collaborate closely with our sales team to expand our national footprint by identifying, prospecting, and closing new business opportunities with county offices (Treasurer, Auditor, Assessor), Departments of Transportation, credit unions, and utility providers, offering them reliable print and mail services for statements and notices.

Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Identify and engage decision-makers in public sector offices (Treasurers, Auditors, Assessors), utility providers, DOTs, and credit unions.
  • Develop and manage a sales process.
  • Identify new business opportunities.
  • Build and maintain a healthy sales pipeline through CRM tracking and consistent outreach.
  • Collaborate on draft proposals, pricing structures, and client onboarding plans.
  • Represent the company at industry trade shows and conferences to generate new leads and build visibility.
  • Consistently meet or exceed sales targets.
  • Assist with engaging in, managing, and responding to RFPs in the government sector.
  • Manage a national territory, meet goals, and take initiative without daily oversight.

Desired Skills and Experience:

  • BA/BS Degree in Business, or related field.
  • 2+ years of B2B sales experience, preferably within the public sector, financial institutions, or utility services.
  • Knowledge of government procurement cycles and buying processes.
  • Ability to collaborate and work as a team.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficiency with CRM tools (Salesforce).
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple opportunities at once.
  • Experience selling print, mail, or communication services is a plus.
  • Comfortable with remote work and managing a diverse, multi-state territory.
  • Occasional travel will be required for trade shows and client meetings.
