**Description:**
Positions needed for urgent clinical holes, to fill our adjunct pool in order to reduce overage for full time faculty and decrease any overtime from MCHS nurses who are hourly

Primary function of the Instructor is the instruction of Mount Carmel College of Nursing students. Maintains academic records regarding the progress of students. Advises students in academic matters. Participates in curriculum planning, implementation and development.
**Responsibilities**
Job Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)
· Education: Bachelor's degree in related discipline required (e.g., BSN). Master's degree in appropriate discipline preferred.
· License / Certification: Must hold a current active unrestricted licensure in the State of Ohio, as applicable.
· (For nursing faculty) CPR certification required with RN licensure, if applicable.
· Experience: A minimum of at least two years in the related field.
· Teaching experience in collegiate or university setting preferred.
· Experience in curriculum development preferred.
· Effective Communication Skills
**Requirements/Qualifications**
+ Bachelor's degree in nursing required for applicable courses. Master's degree in appropriate discipline, doctorate preferred
+ Licensure / Certification: Must hold a current active unrestricted licensure as an RN in the State of Ohio, if applicable. CPR certification required with RN licensure, if applicable.
+ Experience: A minimum of at least two years in the practice of nursing.
+ Teaching experience in collegiate or university setting preferred.
+ Experience in curriculum development preferred.
+ Effective Communication Skills
+ Active in professional and community organizations.
