Key Responsibilities : -
System Administration & Maintenance
o Install, configure, upgrade, and patch Software applications.
o Monitor system health, logs, and proactively identify and resolve issues.
o Perform root cause analysis and implement preventive measures.
o Work with the database team to maintain integrity and performance (Oracle and SQL).
o Evaluate and recommend new technologies or improvements to existing infrastructure.
Incident & Problem Management
o Provide on-call support for priority Production issues.
o Triage real-time production incidents and perform RCA.
o Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Database, Development, Network, Security, Enterprise Data teams) to resolve issues.
Documentation & Reporting
o Document business process flows, system documentation, operating procedures, and configurations.
o Work with development teams on building and maintaining Applications and reports for operational and various business functions.
Security & Compliance
o Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls following security best practices.
o Apply security patches, and perform regular security monitoring and backups.
o Implement and monitor security controls such as firewalls, antivirus, and vulnerability remediation.
o Support audit activities and ensure systems comply with corporate security and regulatory requirements.
o Ensure compliance with ITIL processes and organizational standards.
Requirements
Required Skills & Qualifications : -
Technical Skills
o 5-7 years of experience in System Administrator is a must.
o Experience with windows environments, server administration, scripting skills is a must.
o Experience with Oracle and SQL databases.
o Experience with Cloud platforms (Azure, AWS).
o Experience working with Financial Applications and Automation scheduling tools.
o Experience with financial reporting data points.
Soft Skills
o Excellent communication and presentation skills.
o Strong customer service and problem-solving abilities.
o Ability to work independently and in a team.
Education
o Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, MIS or related field.
